River Bluff 50s Ranch: 68 Kings

My good friend Heidi has been drooling over this house for months, and today I finally understood why. Perched atop 5.96 acres overlooking the Missouri River and Pelican Island, this classic 1958 ranch not only sits on the largest lot in beautiful Castlereagh Estates. It also has the most wonderful vintage interior, with gorgeous views out every window and loads of space for entertaining and living.

I thought the upstairs was pretty impressive with its massive brick fireplace and original 50s kitchen, but the walk-out basement is just as nice. There’s a workshop area, a photography dark room, a wet bar, a ping pong/gardening room, and a light-filled family room with another fireplace. I should also mention the inground pool outside, which is heated for year-round enjoyment.

Seriously, this place is a heck of a deal. And you can tell the original owners really cared for it, since they filed away every single receipt, plat map and blueprint, keeping meticulous records. If you appreciate mid-century style and a tranquil setting with abundant wildlife, I would love to show you this amazing property in person…

If you’d like a buyer’s agent to show you this exceptional mid-century house (with commission paid by the seller, of course), I’d be happy to help!
