Growing up in North County, far-flung JeffCo towns like Festus and High Ridge were pretty foreign to me. So imagine my delight when I was out exploring about 10 years ago and happened upon the coolest little lake community in House Springs. Known as Weber Hill Terrace, this unique collection of mostly mid-century homes is centered around a nine-acre lake and truly has a relaxed, vacation-y vibe.
For some reason, the subdivision reminds me of Colorado or one of the quirky mountain communities outside of Los Angeles, and only five houses have gone up for sale there since 2009. This is one of them. It comes with an acre of land and plenty of updates, so if you appreciate a nice, classic 60s ranch with a great view and water access, you might want to check this place out, especially if the Gravois/270 area is convenient for you.
By the way, there’s an even bigger and more beautiful lake community across Highway 30. It’s called Lake Montowese and it’s gorgeous!

If you’d like a buyer’s agent to show you this fun vintage property (with commission paid by the seller, of course), I’d be happy to help!
