In the countless times I’ve driven down Page near Westport, it has never occurred to me that this sweet little lake with a striking modern bird sculpture is actually a separate property from the adjacent commercial building. But apparently it is.
It sits on .59 acres at the super visible corner of Schuetz & Page, and it just hit the market a few weeks ago for $195,000.
I don’t know about you, but now I really want to find out the story on that bird. And I also want to see this corner stay intact and not become a gas station or something.
I bet a creative buyer could really take advantage of the high-traffic locale and use it for promotional purposes. What about you? Any ideas? The property is zoned commercial/industrial but it sure would make a nice park space for local workers. Or what about a sculpture garden??
