Ah, 1982. That was the year we first got cable TV at my house. Also the year of jelly shoes, Atari Pitfall, and rollerskating to Olivia Newton-John in my basement.
My basement happened to be a 1970s “Olde English” special done in beige, brown and fluorescent (certainly not ideal for re-enacting Xanadu) so what I really dreamed of back then was a light, bright lower level like this!
This 1982 rustic atrium ranch just hit the market in Chesterfield today, and it has some really bitchin’ features: open living area, gorgeous natural light, half-acre wooded lot, etc.
The only catch: it’s really dated. Like totally awesome dated…
But no worries! Just yank up the old carpet and make a few updates and this could be one very cool house! I say keep the superhero stained glass and this fabulous living space…
And by all means, put this fantastic basement to good use!
I don’t think you have to be an 80s fan to see it: the potential in this house is tremendous! And the price is right!
10 Peppermill Ridge hit the market yesterday at $287,000. It’s listed by Nathan Bank, Coldwell Banker, and has 4 bedrooms & 3 baths in 2143 square feet.
If you’d like a buyer’s agent to show you this unique property, give me a call!
