So, what’s your first impression when you see this house? Cute but small? Nothing special? Because let me just stop you right there and say you will be FLOORED when you see what this place looks like inside!

My husband and I visited a few weeks ago for some personal house hunting, and we were both absolutely amazed! The hillside lot won’t work for us, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this 1975 House Springs bungalow is a super duper unique GEM that has been awesomely updated!

If you’re looking for one-of-a-kind with a wee bit of Caribbean flavor, here it is….

Step inside and you can see all the way through to the back of the house. There’s a sunny living room with a stucco gas fireplace, and right next to that is a huge open kitchen with rustic beams and an illuminated glass block island.

This photo really doesn’t capture how large the space is (20×20). You also can’t see the big open staircase in the center of the room, which leads to a fully finished walkout basement! But I did manage to grab a shot of the main floor laundry room in the far corner….

LOVE this salvaged door and galvanized siding!!! I’m also still drooling over the sunroom just beyond the kitchen. It overlooks the woods and features gorgeous Palladian windows and a custom made bamboo ceiling…

You could use the sunroom as your main family room if you wanted, or perhaps move the TV to the media room downstairs. It’s plenty big, has its own full bath and just happens to open onto this lovely patio…

In case you can’t tell already, this house is ideal for entertaining. It’s also a great option for someone needing multiple living spaces, with the master bedroom separate from the other bedrooms.

And don’t worry about privacy. The lot is one acre backing to woods, and the street is a tiny little thing with fewer than 10 houses. I actually drove past it three times before I finally found it.

4781 Denjover Lane has 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms in 1683 square feet (2986 total). It was listed back in May by Wanda Niehoff, Coldwell Banker, for $189,900.

There is no garage, and the flat yard area is minimal, but you still get nearly 3000 square feet of finished living space, all just 12 miles down Tesson Ferry from 270. And the workmanship on this rehab is exceptional. Truly, attention to detail and then some!

If you’d like a buyer’s agent to show you this unique pad, give me a call…
