Craig Woods Cutie: 1216 Dubois

September 17, 2013 , In: Residential Properties , With: No Comments

Oooh! Here’s a sweet deal on a cool MCM, located in the always desirable Craig Woods subdivision. Built in 1953, it’s included in the city of Kirkwood’s historic registry and just hit the market yesterday for $124,900.

I wish I had interior pics to share on this Burton Duenke-built slab home, but sorry, this is it, folks….

All I can tell you is that the house is one of the smaller ones in the subdivision: 2 bedrooms & 2 baths in 1326 square feet. But the lot is nice and big at .39 acre.

Listed by Grant Huelskamp, Coldwell Banker Gundaker. If you’d like a buyer’s agent to show you this mid-century modern gem, which is being sold in AS-IS condition, give me a call…

UPDATE 9/20: I showed this house today. In my opinion, repair items include roof, windows, flooring, bathrooms, chimney, exterior wood siding & trim, AC and water heater. Possibly electric, plumbing and boiler. In other words, this is definitely a fixer-upper. But the lot is lovely, the neighbors are nice, and the potential is incredible. Email me if you want the full story and additional photos.
