Retro Anomaly: 9726 Greenwood

October 2, 2013 , In: Residential Properties , With: No Comments

As I’ve mentioned before, my husband and I are currently house hunting ourselves. So when this fabulous 1957 ranch hit the market in our old hood, Rock Hill, a few days ago, we were the first ones in the door!

The house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac on a big, half-acre lot, and has been in the same family for 40 years. It’s definitely dated inside, but if you’re a vintage fan like me, you will absolutely LOVE it!

The main living area has a huge windows and a nice open layout, and it’s even wired with speaker jacks that connect to a record cabinet down the hall…

The kitchen is also AWESOME. Seriously. All original maple cabinets that actually curve in the corners!

The bathrooms are original too, and in really great condition…

And I could tell you about the secret cabinet in the basement or the ingenious attic stairs or the 4-page list of “anomalies” that describe all the quirks in this cool house, but then that would ruin the surprise!

9726 Greenwood Terrace has 3 bedrooms & 2.5 baths in 1571 square feet. Dana Henson, RE/MAX has it listed at $149,900. Check out more pics at the listing link and give me a call if you want to take a look in person!
